The Spring Days
The GAIN Investment Insight Programme Spring Days are the highlight of your 10-week journey — bringing your online learning and mentoring to life.
They’ll take place on 8–9 April 2026, in London and Edinburgh.
A small-group experience
From the very start, you’ll join a supportive peer networking group of 5–7 students.
You’ll attend your Spring Days together, sharing ideas, preparing your presentations, and building lasting connections with your peers and mentors.
This small-group format creates a more personal, collaborative experience with your host firm and helps you get the most from every session.
Bespoke, interactive activities
Each host firm designs its own unique two-day programme to show you how investment management really works.
You’ll gain hands-on insight through activities such as:
- Firm overviews and Q&A with professionals across different teams
- Work shadowing with analysts and portfolio managers
- CV and interview workshops to prepare you for future applications
Speed networking and informal lunches with industry professionals
Your Stock Pitch Challenge
Throughout the programme, your peer group will collaborate virtually on a stock pitch project — researching, analysing, and presenting an investment idea.
During the Spring Days, you’ll refine your pitch and present it to a panel of investment professionals for feedback.
Financial Support
We believe cost should never be a barrier to opportunity.
If you are invited to attend a Spring Insight Day and need help with travel or other expenses, bursary support is available.
